A comedy.
To save their village from a huge new shopping centre, three friends bury the foot of a Roman statue on the building site, so that construction has to stop. Passing themselves off as archaeological experts, they extort a great deal of money from the developers. Then, unexpectedly, all three run into the people they cheated, and the gauntlet begins.
Will they be found out? And how do you turn one of them into the son-in-law of everybody’s dreams?

Alexandra Koch studied scenic writing at the UdK Berlin and language arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She writes chiefly for the stage; her texts have been performed at Dschungel Wien, the Phönix Theater Linz, at Fluc, in Graz and in Leipzig. Her awards include a nomination for the Retzhofer Drama Prize, the City of Vienna playwriting grant and the Mira Lobe grant in 2017 and 2020.
