2007 A parents’ initiative starts the theatre project Ein Sommernachtstraum – A Midsummer Night’s Dream with 45 children of the bilingual primary school at Grinzinger Straße 88 in Vienna’s 19th district, directed by Elke Maria Schwab. In the world of the fairies and sprites, English is spoken. In the audience is Karlheinz Hackl, who invites the production to play at the Theater zum Himmel.

2008 The Theater zum Himmel opens in the former Hörbiger house as a promenade theatre in the garden. One of the narrators that year, Sophie Stockinger, is nominated for the Romy award as best newcomer in 2017.

2009 Der Verschwender by Ferdinand Raimund.

2010 Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare, directed by Elke Maria Schwab.

2011 Der Talisman by Johann Nepomuk Nestroy.

2012 Jedermann by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, directed by Maria Köstlinger.

2013 A new era begins with the stage wagon, and gutgebrüllt starts touring to the finest spots in and around Vienna.
